hi everyone. I had a accident and my shay fell on the carpet and when I put it back on the track,  i noticed the rear light housing was bent a bit and light was showing at the base of the light housing,so I wiggled it a bit and now their is no rear light. Could you explain how I could fix it.Is the bulb inside the tender or in the light housing. I definetely could use some advice. Thanks

SteamGene

The Shay probably ran with a light on only at night.

Good response Gene!  (slow clap in background.)

polekat,

The bulb is not in the light housing.  The bulb is in a tube down inside the tender.  It is then reflected up and out.  I would open up the tender and take a peek inside.  See if the bulb got disconnected when your shay had the "big one".  Lucky for you, it was on carpet.  Hope I was able to help.
