Difference between Bachmann and Digitrax?

Why I am asking is I am getting a uncoupling car that works with Digitrax  F3 and F4 functions - will the Bachmann DCC system that I purchase in the two locomotive set work with the uncoupler?

You can only run 8 decoder equipped loco's, and program the uncoupling car for the remaining slot, but yes, I believe EZ Command does support Functions.

E-Z Command will control the functions but unless the decoder in the uncoupling car can be programmed in Operational Mode, you will not be able to set its address with E-Z Command.
