I have a series one Bacmann set of six cars in HO scale.  The item # is:  43-1290 and I can't find any info on it.  Can anyone help me in determinng its value?  Thanks for any input.

Gene,

These are a six passenger car set in the boxes.  HO scale, series one. I've had them since the mid eighties and have never had them on a track.  Item # 43-1290.  They are maroon in color with Norfolk and Western on them.  I hope this helps, and I appreciate any help you can give.

Conrail Quality

The fact is, very few plastic HO models gain any value over time. One can now get much better-running, better-looking, and more accurate models at any hobby shop, so these models do not have much value in them. If this set is typical Bachmann 1980's work, you could get maybe $30 tops for all six.
