Hi , other than the major painting does any one know how hard it would be to convert the Bachmann 4-4-0 to this locomotive . Thanks

personally I'm convinced that the conversion will cost as much as an off-the-shelf MMI Eureka..... Take a look at the MMI or Caboose Hobies home page.

Very hard..
the prototypes are very different locomotives,
and have virtually nothing in common, except the wheel arrangement.

different domes
different driver sizes
different wheelbase length
different cab

I cant find one thing they have in common..

Thank ' s I didn't know that it was avable painted any-other way than D&RGW . I also found their West Side Lumber Shays .  :) :) :)

Yes, the forth-coming MMI 4-4-0 is correct for the Eureka.  I'm not sure about the variety of stacks they may offer, but Precision or Backshop parts would do for retrofit.
