I received the turnout new on bubble and card, with a supplied controller.
When tested with this controller, in any position of it, when the AC is connected, the motor buzz without any move of the rails and gets very hot, unless I cut the AC.
I tried with an other controller I had, in this case the motor goes only one way.

I asked the Bachmann service if it is possible to buy a new printed circuit for the faulty controller and a switch motor.
No reply.

Can someone help me?
Thanks in advance. J.B.

Before powering the turnout, work it manually to make sure it is not binding. If you still get a buzzing sound, the turnout is already "thrown" in that switch position.  Move the switch to the other position and push again.

Inside the solenoid is a sliding metal bar, that hooks to a link on the geared rack.  I noticed on one that the bar was jammed against the plastic support.  Cutting away a bit of the plastic freed it up, then it worked fine.

Sometimes these turnouts need a bit of tweaking to make them work properly.
