You go away for a few days and when you come back, your house is gone.
You go away for a few days and when you come back, your family is gone and have not left a forwarding address.
You go away for a few days and when you come back, your favorite board has radically changed.
My house is still here. My family is still here. And I like the new board. I hope the only thing gone is the spam.

But the amount of chatroom/text messaging pseudo-English has multiplied! Oh, if their language arts/English teachers could just give them grades based on their posts!

Jim,
I had the same thought. The new board will take a little getting used to, but I think I'm going to like it. The only down side is that it appears we have lost all the old posts under the old board. Some were over two years old, and some posts were by members who have since died. Well, so goes the march of progress.
