The Chaz Storm

Yes you can have your Thomas model exchanged for a new one.  I exchanged my Percy for a new one a while ago and it works perfectly. ;)

so do i mail it to the bachmann industries chaz, and do i have to send money?

The Chaz Storm

Before you do any of those I would recomend you call the Bachmann company and them know ahead of time. ;)  But usually you do have to mail it to them and you may or may not need to pay them.

Dear Alex,
Damage such as you describe is wear and tear, and is not covered under the warranty.
You have to take care of your trains!
Sorry!

Dear Bachmann,
At the HO layout I run, a Percy was recently brought in, and despite what I did, he would not run, and his face was coming off, and appeared to have some sort of ink on the side of the face. Do you suggest seeing if the chassis needs cleaning, replacing, or getting a new one?

the Bach-man

Dear Sparks,
Cleaning and lubrication is often a good place to start.
Have fun!
