U-Link_n_Pin Drawheads for the On30 Bachmann 2-8-0

I have a "what I did" about putting U-link and pin drawheads on the the On30 Bachmann 2-8-0 at:

And YES I know that there are commercial LP systems available but they neither suit my purpose or convey the appearance that I desire.

Looks really good. Is there a way to make them automatic for coupleing, instead of having to manualy do it.

That is why they invented the knuckle coupler, link an pins are always manual prototype and model.

I find that U-link_n_pins are easier to use on a small layout with sharp radii because there isn't enough room to bang the cars together and the couplers never are in alignment. I have used this system in the smaller OO scale and it works great.
