Can you please advise the minimum radius that the Bachmann G scale Consolidation 2-8-0 loco narrow gauge outside frame will run on comfortably - many thanks and God bless

Steve Stockham

6.5 ft. diameter without modifications to the coal pile.
5 ft. diameter (using the long drawbar connection) by modifying the coal pile (see archives for directions)
8 ft. diameter using the close drawbar connection

Thank you so much Steve - much appreciated - may God bless you :)

Dear All,

I'm not sure exactly how the "Frequently Asked Questions" section of this forum is supposed to work, (moderator only?) but Steve's detailed reply on minimum radius of the Fn3 Connie begs to be placed there.

How about a minimum radius (diameter?) thread for each engine type, plus a thread for spectrum rolling stock?

Sincerely,

Joe Satnik
If your loco is too heavy to lift, you'd better be able to ride in, on or behind it.

Good idea Joe, but could we all decide if we are going to use diameter or radius and stick to one or the other --- please!!!!.
