Do the new freight car under-frames lower the car. I have heard that they do but am not sure. Thanks

If they lower the cars, do they keep the couplers at the same height?
Growing older is mandatory but growing up is optional.

Yes they do keep the couplers at the same height.

I have some of the new cars with the new frames, the couplers match the older cars.

The change is in the truck bolster, it allows the car body to sit lower on the trucks.

Thank you. Do you feel that it changes the look enough to make the cost worth it.

Absolutely, i ordered frames for all my older cars.
