Hi, can someone tell me a place to get a new motor for my Big Hauler 4-6-0?
Thanks, alanrr

there is a guy on EBay who seems to be selling replacement motors fairly regularly.
http://cgi.ebay.com/MOTOR-UPGRADE-FOR-BACHMANN-G-SCALE-2-8-0-2-6-0-4-6-0_W0QQitemZ360101752019QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item360101752019&_trkparms=39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A1%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

Try clicking on the above.

I would also try to contact Bachmann and at least ask if they have any,  use their regular number rather than the 800 number it is 215-533-1600. They have helped me in the past with parts when they have any.  Be sure to ask  for the service manager for the best results.

Well, kind of interesting.

I have a few hundred Bachmann/Mabuchi motors which I have accumulated over the years.  $20.00 is probably the going rate for the motor, since my Pittman motors cost quite a bit more.  But I will sell the Bachmann/Mabuchi motor for $10.00 which includes the postage charge.
