I have just recieved  a N scale freight station with sound. Need to know what voltage? AC or DC? Thanks

The AC terminals on the power pack would work.

Thanks, didn't want to burn something up.

I don't think 12 volt- DC would burn up anything. But, AC is definitley the right choice for accesories:

ACcesories (Ha, ha, ha) ;D

Alternating Current

I used a 9 volt battery to power my turnouts, they seem to work fine too.
