55 ton three truck shay

Just purchased a new 55 ton three truck shay.  It did not come with an owners manual like the other Backmanns I have.  It came with the DVD and the parts diagrams but not the color owners manual.  Does this engine not come with the owners  manual?

Mine does not have an colored owners manual either, and I don't think they came with one. But I did notice that there is an unsed space next to the DVD. Perhaps a small booklet would have fit into that.
