cancer warning on my pier set

i just bought a bachmann pier set......black plastic.....and a suspicious warning came on the box about california finding a substance that can cause cancer in the product......
is this one of those don't let a kid chew them things or something else?
anyone ever had a siniliar experience?
i have little kids

Yes and adults shouldn't chew them either,,, but only if you live in California. They are safe every where else.

You will find this warning on almost everything that will be sold in California. This same question was posted last week, so read the thread called 'warning labels" on page two. It will answer all your question and more.

And if you do eat the piers, cancer will be the least of your problems.
