I have a large scale trolley and wanted to see what would be involved in making it automatically reversible (if possible).  I did a search and found that a reversing unit is/was available for other gauges.  Just didn't see anything for large/G scale.

Thanks.

Neo,
Check out the reversing units made/sold by Split-Jaw Products.

Their web site www.splitjaw.com and phone number is 1-877-762-4822.  Split-Jaw is located in Portland, Oregon.

They offer two versions.  A regular unit that stops and reverses the trolley/locomotive  at the end of the run. The other unit has a multi-stop capability.  These are solid state devices.

Our club has used these units on displays for a number of years with good success.  I've had one for a number of years that has been trouble free.

I believe Aristo-Craft also make a reversing unit

I use an Aristocraft Reversing Unit, Catalogue Number 11090.  These units work great, my tram arrives at one end, waits for the programmed time and runs back to the other end.  Waiting time can be programmed from 5 seconds to five minutes.
