Dear fellow forum members',

As the April issue of Model Railroader will be arriving in the mail anyday now,

Please, I'm begging you, keep the April fools' item to yourself,

at least for a while, say March 9th, which is the average day issue hits the newsstand.

Every year it seem that someone has to blab and give it away, spoiling it for everyone else days before most people even get to see the issue.

Revel in the knowledge that you know something that others do not, and take pride in being able to keep a secret.

I agree, some of last year's April fool jokes were ridiculous.
I know what I wrote, I don't need a quote
Rule Number One: It's Our Railroad.  Rule Number Two: Refer to Rule Number One.

I promise, I won't tell. Like telling a child there is no Santa, they need to figure it out themselves, then grow up.

Maybe one day the editors at MR will grow up too.

Growing older is mandatory but growing up is optional.

Your reply is funnier than all the MR April Fool's gags combined!

Honestly,
I don't get it.  :P If you'd like to keep it a secret, just e-mail me. My e-mail should be avaible to public. ;)

is that "No Santa Fe?"

No sir, that is "No Santa, hey."  After all, I am a Canuck.
