Is there an easier way to remove the track connectors from an EZ track?  I tried to remove a connector with needle nose pliers and I ended up bending the track.

Hi Rick
The factory installed joiner is punched into the bottom of rail before assembly, creating a dimple in the joiner. First cut off the plastic "spikes" to match the side without joiner. With a tiny screwdriver pry up the edges of the joiner on both sides of the rail base.

Using your pliers wiggle the joiner back and forth sideways while pulling. Once you remove the joiner you will see the dimple.
