ok this probley a really dumb question but how do you lubricate the 4-4-0 and 2-6-0?
You better do something, you idiot, because in ten minutes you're going to have two hundred tons of locomotive smashing through Central Station on its way to Marshall Field's.

This may sound unconventional, but I use a paint brush. I used to use sewing machine oil that came with a long needle applicator, but the individual droplets were too large and tended to mess things up. Now, with a tip of the brush, I have more control to apply the oil sparingly.

Dear Mow,
Use plastic compatible lubes, like our EZ Lubes. Place a small drop of light oil on the moving valve gear parts and axles, and a drop of conductive lube on the wheel treads.
Have fun!
