Battery Cover for Bachmann Big Haulers Ltd Ed Set Southern Pacific Coast

Hi,

I just got a Bachmann Big Haulers Ltd Ed Set - Southern Pacific Coast. The battery cover on the tender has a broken hinge on one side. It is black with gold trim. Can I purchase one of these somewhere?  And, can I put it on without breaking the new small hinge?
