Amen to that!  Did the same thing myself.  I took the trucks (notice the plural) apart completely (including the gears) and soaked them in a plastic safe solvent and air blew them off.  Worked fine after a good thorough re-greasing.  Stephen

I know, I know.....air Blew!  Hold on to the pieces very tightly!
