I'll try, but the rain since 1 am and the storms overhead that might stay overnight kind of mess things up... Still, this is a day to celebrate freedom, my Uncle Tommy is coming out along with other relatives.

The best thing to do:  find a document that begins "When in the course of Human events..." and ends "...our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor."

Well, not the best i ever had, went to a parking lot across the street from my local hobby shop. Brought my dog with my mom and watched from their. Berea was slow when i was their. 1 train in a hour! Explains why it was busy last week.OK 30 minute fire work show, but the finale was too short. 20 seconds?! Overall good.

It was a fun day after all, my friends came over, and the family came. Me and Uncle Tommy discussed about his new TS2009 he ordered for 13 dollars more than he should have. Then, I slept over with my friends, and before that, we actually caught the fireworks that go off. What a display, and we got free parking, you could see them shooting them off in the distance, and they were going off right over our heads. Amazing.

I hope everybody stateside had a great fourth.  In honor of our American friends, we found room on our flag pole for the Stars and Stripes yesterday, right under the Canada flag and over the Saskatchewan flag.  I wanted to post a photo but the wind never cooperated.  Calmest day we have had all year.  But that was good weather for the fire works last night.

We had my parents over for a parade and some burgers, it rained throughout the parade and moved our grilling inside to the george foreman grill (not the same but we survived).

Mid afternoon the skies cleared up and we were able finally grill some brats for supper and then watched the worst fireworks show of all time. It started a little after 10pm and by 10:12 we were back inside (and we had waited a while to see if it was actually over).

Lousy weather and fireworks aside it was a good day spent with family.

Up here in Canada we have many ways of dealing with bullies, brats and bad boys but barbecuing them for supper is not one of them!   :D

Bullies and bad boys tend to be a bit tough, but a quality grilled brat is excellent :)

Wifey insists on fixing the brats when we have them.  The last time I grilled one for her she said it was the wurst brat she'd ever eaten.   :-\

No time off for us, we spent the weekend baling hay. With all the rain, we're about a month behind schedule. We're not complaining, best hay crop we've had in 20 years.

Hope everyone had a fun and safe holiday.  8)

If your loco is too heavy to lift, you'd better be able to ride in, on or behind it.

Brats either eat or are eaten, depending on the pronunciation.

We sell the hay to other ranchers who don't have their own hay fields. We also do custom baling or share crop with those who have hay fields, but no equipment.

It's like any contracting business, those who don't have equipment pay those who do.  8)
