Christmas Trolley set

Hello to all,

I am interested in purchasing the Bachmann Christmas Trolley set (#00401) to add this to the township in my layout.  I don't want to be in the holiday mode all year.  I already have a couple of the HO scale San Francisco Cable Cars (motorized) that I run on my mainline just for fun sometimes.  Does anyone know if my cable cars will operate OK on the trolley set?
