Hello there, just a quick question to all the electronic guru's out there. I was wondering what the voltage given out by the bachmann decoder is for the forward and rear headlight. i used a multimeter and found it to be 16V DC. Is that possible? the LED that came with my 2-10-2 tneder blew up and after a few minutes the bulb in the forward of the engine blew. if any of you guys have some suggestions i would be very appreciative. thanks.

The 16 volts is right on.  If I understand ddc it is not DC, on the other hand it is not  AC.  I do not know why the lights would blow.

Looks like i have destroyed the decoder as well regarding the lights. the decoder works fine with speed control but with the lights the forward light gets brighter when i press the rear direction button instead of going off. the rear light works fine. that is it goes off when i press the forward direction button. function 1 and 10 does not work with the lights on my EZ command with this engine. any ideas guys? thanks.
