sound decoder installation in Bachmann Spectrum HO 2-6-6-2 /Vandy tender

Is there anyone who installed ESU Loksound Select sound decoder into this loco?   What is the size of speaker fits in this tender and can 8 pin plug works in this loco?  Is there anything I have to prepare before this project?
