Hello Folks,
Can anyone tell me were I can find a manual or instructions for a new Vanderbilt Tender 89903?  I want open it up to add a DCC and sound decoder and can't figure out how to take it apart.

Thanks,
Dave

Try this: -

Removed the two screws in the recessed holes under the tender located in the front and centre of the tender.

No need to remove either of the couplers.

Lift up the rear portion of the tank. This should expose the Bachmann circuit board.

I've not tried this so best of luck.

Cheers

If you still need a diagram of the tender, look in the Parts page. I have seen the one that is DCC ready but no speaker hole.
I have also seen one that was sound on board so you can see where the speaker would go if yours does not have the speaker hole.
There are no manuals or instructions for most locos.
