Hi everyone,

I have a question about the four switches I have installed on my layout. they seem to work fine but like they have a mind of there own they can change and cause a train wreck or one of them will cause the engine to slam in the middle of the switch. I'm itching my head on this one. ??? Note I don't hear any of the switches click...

Thank you

We need far more information than that provided.

What brand of switches? Are they electrical or manual?  Do you operate them from a panel?  Do you operate them locally?  Does the problem happen in the facing or trailing direction?  Is the problem in fact your switches or is it the wheels on your rolling stock?  Etc., etc..

Cheers

The switches are Bachmann and are operated electrically, and are connected in series. When switch(es) are thrown I can go once around the track and on the second lap that is when the switches act up. Perhaps this might be the problem I do have the switches butted up against each other (one left and one right)?

Trailing, no rolling stock
