I was given an old N scale Bachmann TGV set made in Hong Kong  that is cosmetically perfect and has all it's parts.  My problem is that the locomotive's rear wheel gears are made from a white plastic that seem to have cracks causing the real wheel assemble to bind up and freeze. I notice that the teeth of the gears jam at the hairline crack points.  I realize that this is an old set of trains and Bachmann no longer has parts for this set but is it possible to still find a locomotive real wheel assembly or , if not, the gears attached to the wheels?  I am also missing the small black plastic ring that separates the two half's of the metal chassis and the small metal contact that connects the pole of the motor to the light board.  Checked eBay but nothing there except a single passenger car from the set.  No locomotives.  And suggestions would be greatly appreciated

NWSL list a gear replacement for the TGV, pg. 4-28 of their on-line catalog, part #1095-6.

You'll have to check with them for availability and price.

I hope this helps.
