40' boxcar wheel replacement

Could you please help me to choose the right fit metal wheelset for 40' boxcar?
Will it be 33' or 36?

33".  36" is for passenger equipment and later heavier freight cars.

Newer cars got bigger and heavier .

My understanding is that the older cars of 70 tins or less capacity used 33" wheels. The 100 ton and larger cars that came along in the 60s began the use of 36" wheels on freight cars.
