15V power supply on EZ command?

The bachmann EZ command ships with a 16v 1aml power supply, but i live in a country that doesn't use US plugs nor voltage and 16v 1amp power supplies are very difficult to find. Could a 15v 1amp power supply work because they are alot easier to find here.
