Bachmann Flying Scotsman Thread

As Flying Scotsman is one of my favorite real-life steam locomotives, I am very excited to se how this model turns out, I also hope that they use Spencer's chassis, as I believe the CGI model uses Spencer's chassis with Gordon's cylinders and drive rods.  Needless to say I'm  excited for him, and for the challenge of doing my signature DCC installation in Soctsman, the lamps may prove a bit challenging but I am up for it!

Excited to see some samples of this model in the coming months!

I think they're gonna use Spencer's chassis as well. I hope they use his valve gear too since I'm not a fan of Gordon/Henry's chunky side rods haha. I really hope they use Spencer's tender chassis as well since it has the proper eight wheel configuration and not six wheel like in the series.
