Hi, I was given a bunch of Bachman EZ track from a friend. He gave probably 100+ pieces of EZ track to use. One problem he gave me 3 right hand turnouts and 3 left hand turnouts with the green wire with connector attached. I could not find the wires for connecting the turnout to the controller. I'm used to Atlas controllers with three wires connected to a control switch.  I don't have any controllers with a connection like the Bachmann turnout green wire. I don't want to pitch what I have and buy new ones if there is a way to connect them as they are. HELP!

Cut the control box end off and use any Atlas controlers you already have on hand. Or get a couple of normally open push buttons and connect one outside wire to one button, the other outside wire to the other button. Tie the open contacts on the buttons together and connect to one side of your power supply. Connect the center wire to the other side of your power supply, and you're good to go.

If at first you don't succeed, throw it in the spare parts box.

OR.... You could buy an aftermarket switch machine and wire it with standard electrical components like most modelers do a few years into the hobby
