I could use some help. I got a Large Scale Spectrum 2-8-0 that I'm trying to get back running. I replaced the drive axle that are known to fail. When working on it I noticed it's it missing a fair bit of springs for the axles and almost all of the brass pickups and springs that hold them in. Also in need of a tender truck main frame part # G813x-0ar02 Any suggestions for help. Thanks in advance.

I gather you have the older "connie", not the newer C19?

Are you the original owner?

Hi Arron,

I found that Kadee coupler springs will do the job.  As for the truck if you have all the pieces I found that JB weld worked very well.  Another possibility would be to use a tender truck from another model.

Take care,

I looked at the exploded diagram and it was hard to determine which were the springs in the drawing.
