LS Thomas Gear - part store vs parts diagram

Hi all,

Our Thomas and Percy were hustling freight on our outdoor layout and, in true Island of Sodor style, we overloaded the train and Thomas's drive gear unfortunately cracked. I went to the parts store, ordered two new gears and had time to switch it out yesterday.  In keeping with Sodor Railways, it turns out the gear that is listed in the parts store for Thomas is not the right gear.  I apologize if this topic has already been discussed.


On the part diagram, the gear is part number GTL02-00L03. In the online parts store, the detail of the gear for Thomas shows as GTL02-00L01
The image attached shows the old, cracked gear on the left and the new gear purchased from the online store on the right.

I posted this on the FB Gscale.net page and was inundated with lots of folks telling me to get gears made elsewhere, which is an option but I'd like to alert Bachmann to this error in their parts page so other people can avoid this same issue.
