Im preparing to send a 2-8-0 locomotive to the service department.....and while im getting ready send i had a couple of questions before i send it.

1 Do i have to send the tender with the engine?

2 I have southern rwy version of a the 2-8-0 (this is not the one im sending) but it has a bell that is mounted on the front of the smokebox, i was curious as to if the service department had any smokebox fronts like this in stock, ive never seen another engine like this anywhere.

3 I have an old set of F-9's from the mid 1990's does bachmann still stock the old body shells for them.

Sorry to ask to many questions but i kinda like to kill 2 or 3 birds with one stone.

i just bought a n scale 2-6-2 this weekend and i am looking to add some weight to it...i havent ever done this so im looking for any do's and donts.....im looking to place some lead into the sand domes on the engine to give it more traction.  I know not to short out the motor and stuff.  But how much is to much to add and has anyone attempted this and what were the results. I only paid 30 for the engine so if i burn it up im not out much.
