I use the Bachmann E-Z Command ® Digital Command Control System and I am trying to understand how I might control low voltage lighting (crossing signals, etc) with this device or do I need another source of power?

Could someone tell me how to determine the optimum weight for rolling stock?  Sometime ago , I found a formula that calculates this weight for maximum performance, but I cannot locate it.  Thanks.

It came as part of a train package from Bachmann named the Overland Limited. The engine is a Union Pacific 4-8-4.  I don't know how else to define it.
Thanks for getting back to me.

HO / DCC conversion

Is it possible to convert a 4-8-4 from DC to DCC? I purchased this steam loco as part of a set and now wish it were DCC.  Any help appreciated.

On a piece of Bachmann track such as curve radius 28", angle 18 degrees, what does the 18 degrees refer to. Thanks.
