Large / EK Circus Performer Coach Colors

Does anyone know if there has ever been a performers coach produced in the "Mustard" yellow to match the Advertising Combine in the same color?  All I have seen is the red ones.

From the land of the Mudhens, 40mi S. of The Durango & Silverton, & 90mi W. of the Cumbres & Toltec.  Farmington, New Mexico. Whose Oil Boom of the 50s & 60s saved the narrow gage lines West of Alamosa Co, and all the Mudhen Ks that hauled the drill pipe and pipelines in to Farmington, there by making the D&RG from Walsenberg West profitable for years..

Seasaltchap: I haven't ben running these trucks long enough to notice an wear pattern yet but it seams that Mike has. As I have to drill out the axel holes anyway, drilling larger, then pressing a brass insert in is little extra work.

As a Pro Photog I have all the hardware and software to design and make the masks for etching.  Meny years ago wile working in a Gov. research lab I had the need to make a few etchings and some parts thereof.  I haven't thought that I had the need to go there.

I would like to find out about the bushing before I make the next batch.

Thanks for the reply,

I'm casting 1:20.3 ARCHBAR trucks (side frames and bolsters) from 180deg CeroBlend metal.

I got tired of paying $90 for trucks, to put on a $15 scratchbuilt car.

A little help please!

I've torn a RTV mold, and wonder if there is a good or proper way to repair it?

Jim,   Thanks for the posting of the circuit, this is just what alot of folks wanted...

I'm not a wiz at this stuff but I can follow a circuit enough to make it work...

A couple of ?'s  for clarity..

Is the output watts enough for all four lights, and would it power a second car if wired to the circuit?

Does the battery type make a differance? ie: NiMH, Nicad, alk,  and or do they need to be rechargable?

What works best?  6 AAs or 9V  cells.

Thanks

No I'm not releated, but I stand in great respect for the master of night train photography.

I wish that I had come up with that shot on my own,  I'ts actually a re-creation of O Winston Links photo of the N & W Y6 2143 on the Sheffers Crossing Turntable.  The Durango & Silverton wanted something different for the Winter Photo Special and I jumped on the chance to try my hand at the masters work.  The extra shoot on Saturday night (before Sundays Photo Special), Gave the photogs a real treat to create their own photo of one of the great train shots of Mr.Link.   "The Last Steam Railroad In America", O. Winston Link, (Pg. 23)

The Durango & Sliverton RR went way overboard to make this happen.  We are planning another night shoot for the "Fall Photo Special"

If the monitor is'nt broken or giving un-correctable colors, Why are you replaceing it?

Good CRT Monitors will out preforrm a LCD for sharpness, color corection and reproduction of consistent colors and contrast.

Professional graphic and photographers are scowering the storerooms for Good CRT moniters, as they have stoped making the high end graphic models (laCie, Sony, Mitzy). I have 2 new ones socked away in in storrage for the future. A Good CRT is only good for about 3 years befor it slides down in reproduction quality, and has to be reliageted to non-critital use.

If it's not a realy good monitor, but still usable, have you thought of a duel screen setup? one for the photos and one for the work pallets.
