General Discussion / EZ track
September 02, 2010, 05:10:23 PM
Hey Bachmann
looking at on of the 36" tracks it appear the it is actually 2 18" pieces of roadbed with single track holding it togethter. Have you ever considered selling the 18" peices seperatly.
one other question, the new turntable mentions DCC. Is it DCC compatable or DCC controled. If not could a DCC decoder be used to control it

thanks

from what we have seen of the other Thomas structures except Tidmoth Sheds most of them are not prototypical. But hopefully it wil be. Most of us hear on this group would agree that we would like Bachmann to produce more structures that resemble those of the TV series even as going as far as redoing those structures that they already have. I would like to see a gate crossing next

I plan on buying both of them too. But before you do I suggest you do some shopping online I found both on a website for a lot less the list price. I would post the site but I don't how that would be recieved by Bachmann

Thomas & Friends / New Motorized Turntable

OK Mr Bachmann
know you got me thinking. With the announcement of your new motorized turntable. I need to know will it replace or work with the manual turntable that comes with the Tidmouth shed kit. My other question is, you state that it works with DCC does that mean a DCC controler can operate it

Is there any chance you might sell the Tidmouth Shed with this new turntable

thanks

a lot of thought goes into what we all want for engines and rolling stock for our Thomas collections but what I would like to see is more structures, vehicles and accessories.

1. an actual Sodor style station
2. The Sodor Mail van
3. The Post man
4. a Grade Crossing that has a track built in

why would they not produce these items any more. I would think Bachmann would want to increase the number of Items they offer for Thomas not take away form it. Is it a popularity thing. I would think they would want  to offer as many different cars "wagons" as possible.

General Discussion / HO track cleaning car

is it possible to put one of the couplers for the Thomas line on a track cleaning car so I could have one of those engines pull this car or should I just get a regular engine with that type of coupler

look at the Bachmann picture of their Tidmouth shed then look at the Tidmouth shed in the Series there are lengths of track between the shed itself and the round house, where the engines can come out and sit outside
I was just curious if is possible to do the same with the kit

OK I don't know if this has been thought of, but is it possible to place a section of track between the stalls and the round table to make it look more like the roundhouse in the series. Can you adapt the kit do do this.

if you are talking about the EZ track turnouts you would need the DCC equipped turn out if you want to control them through you command station or just set up the ones you already have that are manually thrown

want to use the Dispatch Decoder because it already has 2 LEDs wired to it to indicated status. If I can't get the AD360 to work with my Advanced squared I will try using another stationary decoder
