Yes I am going to install wire from each power pole to pole to each building etc. The kits come with scale flexible wire.

I have actual gravel from gravel roads that I have sifted , and I have some bought gravel etc, I try mixing see what I get.

Got one section of building and street lites done. Started to do more landscaping.

Moved some things around on the layout, I am moving the power centre to the front industrial area. Drew it out on the table with pencil crayons, I allowed for a 2.5inch road. Have different types of power poles towers etc for transitioning. We have a few big substations here I can go look at for ideas.

Made a dozen trees today, clipped tiny branches from shrubs and glued branches together. First attempt, and they are more flat by design to fit a certain area.

This picture was taken in 1971, by a fellow writing a book about depots in Western Canada. The 3 kids in the picture are Me my sister and cousin, and or family dog. We lived in that station from 1967 till 1976.

Yes we grew up in a small town, in the local train station. My dad was a station agent. We had rain barrels, burning barrels, and a double wide outhouse, 2 stalls no waiting.

I remember getting a drink and a chocolate bar for $.25 the drink was 15 and the bar was 10 It was A Canadian thing, back in the late 70's an independent company started Pic a Pop. was not bad, but didnt last.
