General Discussion / AC amp & volt Meter thank you
December 16, 2008, 02:47:09 PM
Hi Guys,
I've been trying to respond to your e-mails,but I am
unable to. My origonal post dtd 9 Dec 08, asked for
info on putting an ac volt & amp meter in a lional
train circuit.
Wanted to let you know that the problem is solved.
I wanted to monitor the volts & amps on my new lionel
train circuit.
On my HO pike I did not have this problem because
the meters were on the MRC power pack.
Over the years these meters have help solve problems
that showed up, or were about to show up.
Any way thank you for responding.
Lucy 1 PS my library is searching for Lynn Westcott's book.

Hi Guys,
Thank you for your responses. The problem is solved.
I wanted to be able to keep track of the voltage and
amps on this new Lionel train set. So I need to go between the track and the transformer. On my Ho pike the meters are already located
in the MRC power pack so no worry there. Over the years these
meters have solved many problems and at times, shown problems
that would have gone unnoticed.

thanks again,
Lucy 1    PS My local library is looking for the book by Linn westcott.

General Discussion / Re: Lionel Wall Train Clock
August 02, 2008, 12:03:37 PM
Hi Folks,
The train clock is working again. Using all of your
suggestions, the problem was elminated. It was
the C batteries. I hooked up a power pack that
has a volt & amp meter put in 4 volts and the
sound returned big time.
Thank you all for your help.

Charles,
Yes it does have two sets of batteries.
  2 AA for the clock
  3 C's for the sound
  All are brand new.
