I bought a bachman digital e-z commander set with 2 locos.Box claims can program each loco independandtly, speed, direction ect. My question is: Can this power pack controller support 2 seperate tracks at same time?? Thanks for any assistance.

HI: i have a collector train set supposedly produced for "CROWN ROYAL" in the 60's. the decals have dried out badly,what do you guys use to preserve these and not damge thedecal or paint? Thanks.

Greetings: I have severaldifferent items  for my trains, such as rotating light up airport beacon, then have a rotating radar ower, and want to add lights, street lights and several other scene scape items. Some are 6-12 volt dc max. But some are 6-8 volt <AC> max. So what do yoiu guys use power supply wise for all your extra's?? Need al help i can get starting major project soon.

HI TO ALL: Well i am back again with questions, dont ya just love it I was correctly advised by some guys here that i need to put body mount couplers on a few of my cars which have the famed talgo trucks Okay admittedly learning, went the kaydee site, and it was like all greek to me. So if I may ask can someone advise what couplers complete, that i need to get and install.

Side question: I have some accessories that run off 16 volts >>AC<< apparently there isnt a hobbyist ac power supply for ac like for dc?? guess i could buy bunch of the cheap controllers with ac output, but might take several as seems each one is only capable of handling one accessory. Any and all ideas are welcome, as the grandson enjoys the little action accessories as much as the trains.

Hi: Can someone tell me what the metal clip on the tongue of an axle pull coupler is called, i have a used set of bachman cars that have these,they snap on and hold the coupler in the groove or rail on the tongue. a couple of these are missing and ergo no coupler, i would like to replace thes and put couplers on, but  unfortunately i dont know proper term so i can go looking: thanks

Hey: can someone explain to me the difference in 36" wheel and 33". probaly here some wher, but cant find it. I want to change all of mine to metal wheels , everything is bachman.

Okay: Since i dont know , where can i get those "itty bitty" Phillips screws preferably in a bulk pack to mount the couplers??  Also is there such a thing as a switch de-coupler piece ect, so if i want to park cars on a siding i can disconect themfrom the power circuit till i decide to use them??

Good evening: I went to my eye surgeon today in oklahoma city, afterwards went to the whistle stop train store, warning to all in okc dont go there!! all im going to say. went out to hobby lobby big one, and could not, i say vern could not pass on a deal. got 2 full dcc locos, 3 or 4 cars, assorted circle track, and the bachman digital power pack/controller on sale  for 135.00. they are getting out of the bussines on bachman trains.this was 50% off their retail ;)yeah i know shouldnt have but the grandson wanted it he told me so before i left town he saw it in the newspapaer. he's 2 & 1/2 thats what i told my wife!!! course i wound up buying her dinner at the famous cattleman's in the stockyards any way somebody looking for good deal on clearance on bachmantrain sets might check their local Hobby Lobby.

HI: went and done it this weekend, purchased a complete set "Crown Royal " logos and painted co colors.got the loco, passenger car,center flow hopper car,box car and caboose!! yeah i know kinda frivolous, but just caught my eye he grandson has his set, and now i have mine going to set up parallell tracks to his so we can both run at same time

HI: I put my set on 1/2 inch nice finished plywood . it consists of 2 pieces 6' x 21/2 foot with snug fit between center lines. but have noticed over last few days a little curling at corners. was considering going to 3/4 mdf. was told by lowes it wont warp like plywood? any body out there have any experience with mdf??

HI: Seeking possible info on a "CROWN ROYAL" ho train set that  carries the co logos and colors. Might any body recall this and who made it??

HI: Recently i purchased a working radar tower for my ho set. My understanding it was possibly made in the late 50 or 60's for lionel and bottom says made in taiwan republic of china. couldnt find any info on it any where. My question is: did trains and accessories back then run on strictly dc?? This unit does not like the 16 volt ac output of my power pack, but hook it up to a 12 volt dc battery tender from my former goldwing bike and it purrs like a kitten but does turn radar antenna a little too fast So my  thinking maybe it needs just 6 volts dc?? Any thoughts on this greatly appreciated.

HI: was wondering why you cant go online to bachman and register your new train set they put this little card in box you mail and we all know what happens in the mail they mysteiously get lost and your trainnever gets registered for any warranty work. any ideas on this??

HI: I want a locomotive katy line, but budget wont go there as we all know So was wondering if find same loco of another line, but need to paint it katy colors red and white, how hard, to do and what kind of paint recommended?? Also canyou get decals and logos, like he decals of the old model car days??

HI its me again Couple of questions:Been reading, and not understanding why i cant switch wires on rerailer track and make train go oposite direction?? Everyone else states either have to use reverse on controller, or install ane exspensive reverse loop switch. isnt the track a simple dc circuit , pos and neg???

Need recommendations on kaydee couplers, running bachman ho set, cant sort out on their website which ones i need to replace what came on my set.

HI: was wondering about these,saw one by bachman new in box are these god units? will they pull a few cars?? i would assume being 12 wheel drive, means 3 motors?? also can you buy un painted  bodies for locomotives and paint them to suit your self??

OKAY, guess im missing something here.  any suggestions on fine tuning the cheesy little couplers on  a bachman set?? train goes around 10 or 12 times then one of the cars turns loose, hook it back, and another 10 or12 and different one, and by the way excuse my ignorance, what are the little black wires hanging down off coupler in a u shape??? nothing in the paperwork sent in set?? do i need to buy a book explaining all this?

HI: after looking at 177 pages ofe-bay, I count find but one modern day building,it happened to be a home depot. No wal mart, no sonic drive in, very e  i think 2 microwave towers really hihg dollar, and no modern day  wind turbines. Can any one steer me in this direction, or am i going to have to build my own???

Okay i sdmit trying to get started and need help can some one tell me how many  pieces of traclk and how many of each straight, curved, ect i need to build a simple dogbone layout running  around the perimeter?? Ive been loking  cant find any info anywhere, unless not smart enough to know what looking at!! Thanks in advance!!
