Large / Re: It's a C-19

Now this is a locomotive I will buy in multiples. I've been nagging Bach-man for a C-16 for years...but this C-19 is close enough.
Thanks,
Robert

I run all my 4-4-0s and 2-6-0s on  minium 4' RAD. (8' DIA.) curves.
This is the smallest curve RAD./DIA. for best operation.
Especially when double-heading locomotives that are coupled with link and pin.

I still want a Spectrum C-16 in 1:20.3. An early woodburner for the D&RG would do nicely

I am still pushing for a C-16 in early D&RG livery.
The other manufacturer just can't come close to Spectrum detail.

I believe the new Annies have new cab numbers.

I already have 12 Centennials...what i would like is a Spectrum C-16. An early D&RG C-16.

I'd rather have a Spectrum Series C-16.

Glenn,
I found a pictorial account of #223's restoration:
http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/locoPicture.aspx?id=94112
It's being restored at the Ogden Union Pacific Station in Ogden Utah.

A caboose would be good, but a C-16 would be even better. One with a diecast
boiler and cylinder block in addition to the diecast frame. Make it a woodburner.
Just a suggestion,
Robert

I am waiting to purchase several of the troublesome trucks........finally after 15 years, something to pull behind my Lynton and Barnstaple.
Hope to see them soon.

I use Ozark's link and pin coupler kits on all my Centennials...4-4-0 and 2-6-0.....and all my 1:20.3 20' boxcars, gondolas and flats. I have no problems after the installation and initial adjustments.
But I wouldn't run on any diameter less than 8'. But as a side note, when doubleheading locos, I would make a metal (brass) coupling bar as the original plastic drawbar tends to break.
Knuckle couplers just don't look correct on these locos and rolling stock.

Also Mr. Bachmann,
Don't forget a Spectrum C-16.
Thank you,
