Is there anyone here other than myself interested in seeing Bachmann produce the Chinese Railway's SY 2-8-2's and QJ 2-10-2's and other Bachmann HO-scale foreign locomotives in N-SCALE?

I've been told by my dealer Tim Smith at Empire Northern Models that the BACH GE 44 tonner is already decoder equipped

I think ATLAS and KATO have the best chassis. I have placed a few older 1970's ATLAS and re introduction MP -modelpower- GP40's,ALCO C420's,RSD15's on a ATLAS chassis.

This is just my opinion

N / F3,F7A's and the F2A.

Frank and Mike,

The F2A was an interim model it had a F3 carbody with FT innards I remember seeing a few F2A's which were NH(NEW HAVEN) and possibly headed to loco dealer or possibly a short line. Secondly I remember hearing that GN -GREAT NORTHERN- received some GP7's that had FT innards they were labeled GP5's here's a link to for F2A's http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/locoList.aspx?mid=1010

This is just a thought, out of curiosity for those who would like the attempt at keeping a diesel locomotive roster with the same model RR manufacturer company, other than the GP40,GP50, SD40-2,SD45 and the GE DASH 8-40C's and GE DASH 8-40CW's which Bachmann has produced.
What about the introduction of the GP7,GP9,GP60,SD50 this should include a re-introduction of the GP30 but, this time in N-SCALE? These loco models that I mentioned do not suffer from the lack of railroad names, these loco's would be a nice addition to compliment the series of loco's that is mentioned here. This comes from thoughts of having a variety of locomotives from other manufacterers, which shall remain nameless here ..

This is nice to hear that the NYC units are coming. However, my question is this. Are the NYC locomotives going to be painted in the LIGHTNING STRIPE or the CIGAR BAND paint scheme? Both would be perfect for a New York Central modeler. Lastly, I know that there were many FT's and some F2's as well. Also I wouldn't forget about the other railroads that I mentioned in my last post..

B&O in a second road # would be nice!

As for the b & o I happen to have a Spectrum 2-8-0 from the first run,and it is lettered for the b & o RR .

I too am a freelancer, however I would like to see the following railroad companies. I also think we seem to be tiring of the usual spectrum line of (Consolidation) 2-8-0 road names.

Tom

Wabash
B & M RR
L.V. RR
ERIE RR
D.L.&W. RR
W.A.&G. RR - Wellsville Addison and Galeton Railroad -
C & O RR
Maine Central RR

As for new colors, while Bachmann is at it with the colors how about some different road names as well.  I believe that we are tired of the usual western railway names . Below is what I would like to see ...

Tom

Wabash RR in the full blue dress and in the blue and white scheme I think
B & M RR
L.V. RR
ERIE RR
D.L.&W. RR
W.A.&G. RR - Wellsville Addison and Galeton Railroad
C & O RR
Maine Central RR
