Woo hoo.  Keep the narrow gauge coming because they are a hit.  The 009 modellers group is excited about it!

I guess the GWR cattle truck is the proper one used in the TVS.  Surprised Rosie made it onto the list, but it will definitely make fans happy.

Personally I am happy about the narrow gauge stuff!  ;D ;D ;D

What are the chances of Bachmann releasing Duke? Obviously we need Rheneas, Sir Handel, Peter Sam, Rusty and Duncan to be released first, before Duke, but of course Bachmann need to release other Locomotives, after the main 5 have been released. Unless Bachmann in the future, decide to release Mighty Mac, Freddie, Victor, Luke and Millie that is.
To be honest, it is possible.  With the Ffestiniog Railway being popular as it is and the amount of rolling stock from PECO being made, it is possible.  That being said, it would be like waiting for Duck.  The more exposed NG engines would be released and so on.

So...

Who's excited to see what we got coming next year?  ;D

If sometime in the future we do get Skarloey coaches, I hope they look like this:

Honestly, I see one, maybe two new engines this year.  Bachmann had a big Thomas year last year.  I wouldn't expect too much.

HOz would be way too fiddly.  I don't see that scale being made.  Seeing as the range is generally for children, they re-railing process would simply be a headache.

I am new at forum stuff ,did not realize the mistake, thanks for the public butt chewing.

If you think that was a public butt chewing, you need to reevaluate things.  There is nothing wrong with politely suggesting a way to stop spamming up the board.

UPTODAY, I am no forum moderator, but why not include this post in "The Everything Thomas Thread" instead of creating a new one?   :)

The good thing about HOn30 / OO9 is the fact is fits in a small space.  I am building a 3' x 5' layout thats pretty moderately sized for a OO9 layout.  You could EASILY go and buy a 2' x 4' sheet of wood from your DIY store and build a decent OO9 / HOn30 layout on it.  Thats the beauty of it.   ;D

Really happy with Skarloey Bachmann.  Fantastic model with superb detail.

I look forward to future releases of this amazing quality.  Thank you for answering our requests.

First, you need to remove all the striping from the model or it will show through.

I suggest priming everything before painting.  The paint sticks better and looks like you want it.

For striping, you can go several ways:

   -Decals
   -Pin Striping
   -Painting (for the brave!)

I did these videos on conversions.

I converted my entire line.

No offense, but I feel like a majority are biting the hand that feeds them...

Its always MORE MORE MORE when it comes to new stuff.  We've got engines #1-10 with James receiving new paint next year...  I don't understand it...  Be thankful for what you've got.   They are being smart about production tactics by making twins.

I am sure the video had the best intentions, but I felt it was a tad aggressive... especially at the James question.

College is not exactly better than high school as far as the workload goes.  I made the mistake of taking 16 credits this quarter at my school and it is limiting my free time, which includes layout work. ::)

I agree with Chaz.  Having graduated with my Bachelors myself, I participated in the marching band, worked as a RA, and took 14 hours a semester.  It does make you value your time you have to your trains.  That being said, college allows you freedom in your time.  I knew some who scheduled their classes only on Tuesday and Thursday.

Sheesh.  I wish I could hurry up and Graduate!  I'm in grade 11...so one more year to go.  Grade 12 should be fun, trying to balance work at Thrifty's with my studies.

And, does anyone have ideas for a layout in a very small space?  I have all the things I'd need to build a layout,  I just need to figure out how it will happen....
I have built a layout when I lived in a small apartment.  It was only four feet long and two feet wide.  If you are looking for small in HO scale, a shunting layout is good.  I modelled N scale too for a year, but it was too tiny for my taste.

Here are some pics of the layout.

Also modular layouts are good too.  My current one splits into two so I can transport it.

At current, here is what I have found as far as release dates:

Estimated - 3-15-14

Sound Thomas

Arry

Bert

TT #4

The list above was for 2/28, and I suspect it will be pushed back again like last year.

As far as the buildings and coaches, they probably won't come around until late this year or next year.

I think Arry and Bert look quite good.  I rather have the current face opposed to the cheesy smiles in CAE!

Any idea when these are for release?  (Spring/Summer/Fall/Winter)

Troublesome Truck #4, although different from what I expected, looks fine to me.  Is the truck smiling, sad, or surprised?

Definitely getting Mathwaite and the signal box when they arrive too.
