and ill look into the atlas switch but for now the switch i got will work until i get some more money.

im going to get rid of some old copper tomm so ill have some money then :)

ok so i bought a center off switch to replace the old control box and got it all working

Warning!! BE CAREFUL THE WAY YOU CONNECT YOUR WIRES TO THE SWITCH DONT GET ANY SHORTTS (yes i know i spelled short wrong) Have Fun!!

oh ok i thought they had a UK website then yes they should be able to ship over their  search for what you want in the order parts area and then when it askes to estimate shipping enter ehat ever you need to and that should be just about it.

did you put it on a hard surface like a piece of plywood under the snow then the train on top? Is your rug a high pile rug or a low pile rug? all of these can be factors of why this is happening.

i dont know. can you do this? flip the train over and their are 4 to six screws on the bottom of the loco look at the paper that came with the set "the exploded view of the train" open it up. do you see anything black near the motor? let us know

i don't use steam locos but my guess is that the smoke stack wasn't pitched so the breath down the pipe just move the oil down to where it was needed in stead of just sitting above it

OK i found some info in an other post but i need some more info on it and thread is closed so I'm going to ask it in here. how many pieces of 18" rad curve do i need to add to the remote turnouts to make a 90o turn off the divergence route?
