Thank you Pasquelle, Britt did a good job. My dad, who is 50 years old enjoyed Thomas along with me. Then HiT took over and now I only watch the clips for the 3d animation.

Of course those roots are almost dead now thanks to HiT, but nonetheless, I've seen clips of Chuggington, a sad excuse for a show. I've done better 3d animation, and I only took a semester long class.Quote from: PasqualeCS96 on June 09, 2010, 09:21:34 PMChuggington only has five minute runtime episodes and stupid die-cast models that can't even connect with Take-Along Thomas. UP WITH THOMAS!!! DOWN WITH CHUGGINGTON!!!Remember when Thomas episodes were only 5 minutes and the only merchandise was ERTL models?
Quote from: James The Red Engine on May 31, 2010, 11:04:56 AMOnly 2 for James. He's my at the top of my repair list. I'll need 2 at a later date for Percy, but he can wait.
Hi there Hoss. I've got some buffers, but I need some for a model project. How many are you in need of?

It was the first and we don't need another one taking up space and it is long so people can find info instead of cluttering up the board so us that one.

If I have to use a knife to get a model of Gordon open, and I'm 16, how is a 5 year old supposed to get it open? Hornby use boxes for their Thomas line. Scissors do not cut this stuff. What ever it is, its tough stuff.Quote from: ZeldaTheSwordsman on May 30, 2010, 05:04:27 AM
Because the Thomas models are considered to be toys by the manufacturer and the safety board. They are consequently packaged like toys.
If they are packaged like toys then they should be easy to open! Don't mean to be rude, but he said he was 16. If a 16 year old finds it annoying to open the package, the 5 year old might as well break the item while attempting to open the box.
I use a scissors and cut around the edge of the bottom and half way up on both sides of the box to create a flap in a way to pull the model and molded plastic "bed" out. I find it to keep the general and original shape of the box through this method. It seems to work for me.
Quote from: thomasj219 on May 30, 2010, 02:32:12 PMI couldn't find it and it's getting long anyways.
The Everything Thomas topic is right here http://www.bachmanntrains.com/home-usa/board/index.php/topic,9310.660.html please delete this and use that for any info.
Quote from: Anthony P2 on May 29, 2010, 10:48:47 PMYeah, I noticed that too.
i used to love Theodore. he did come on recently on a channel called "qubo" but it was like 12 EST at night and 3 EST, but unfortunately they took him off the air for good. and ya you do have a point. everything has to be "educational" and other stuff.
but back when TUGS and Thomas (the original series that were based on the books) made it look like you didn't even learn a lesson because you were so interested in things like explosions and fires (in TUGS), trains crashing.
now that i think of it, did you notice nothing has been "saved from scrap" since season 5 (old slow coach).

you can always have nameplates, you just have to buy etched brass ones separate.
And they will never happen, if anyone made them HiT would jump on them like a ton of bricks. And etched brass plates for a toy? Think about it...
