Thomas & Friends / Mail van, how does it come apart?
January 12, 2012, 06:19:37 PM
I bought 2 Bachman mail vans and I want to put an end of train device like tail lamp on one.
I've tried and I think I might be missing something, so any one else have better luck getting these apart? They have open interiors so my other one may receive some details like a post sorting room and mail sacks assuming they aren't too hard to come apart.

Thomas & Friends / A small problem with Bachman Thomas
December 30, 2010, 10:41:11 PM
Hey,

I was working on some projects and my Thomas model came up on the to-do list. He wasn't running right to I disassembled the wheels and cleaned them with rubbing alcohol. After I reassembled everything and added some Labelle 108 light oil to the final drive gear, the test had nothing happen. Did I mess something up on the contacts? They are behind the wheels the way the should be. Motor doesn't run, click or anything. I was going to order a new drive for him next week, but I want to make sure this is the problem.

Thomas & Friends / Everything Thomas June 2010
May 29, 2010, 10:18:48 PM
A continuation since I can't find the original.

Has anyone else have trouble opening the Bachman Thomas packing? It's a real pain in the Ka-rear. The best way I found was using a utility knife to cut (Into a piece of wood and away from you.) the model out. Someone tell me why Bachman doesn't use boxes like the rest of their products?

Thomas & Friends / buffers help
May 29, 2010, 09:54:31 PM
I need some parts for my Bachman James. Now before you start telling me to call customer service, here's my situation.

I need the front buffers. He had a mishap with a friend of mine on the end of a siding and, well, a 3 foot fall to a hard concrete floor.

I can only pay cash. So that means no E-bay, credit cards, paypal, debit, or any of the like. Money order and C.O.D I am lenient.

I did check the spare parts section. Only a face plate.

Is there anywhere that I can get buffers? I have thought about the Hornby replacements, but read the second part.

HELP!!!!
