Mr. Bachmann, UPS pick Dan's engine up, but we haven't heard anything.
I know you must be busy with the York show around the corner. I'll try and find a Connie at the show.

Dan was told that he would get a ticket for pickup and they would make the final decision.  Dan has at least 30 Bachmann engines, most of which have never been out of the box. He's looking forward to running the K-27. He said he hoped it didn't take a long turn around.
He bought the K-27 with the green boiler, but wanted the one with the doghouse,so he let me have the green one. The one I have has the sticker on the end of the box, but his doesn't.
I'm rebuilding my layout, I'll have around 1500 ft of main line. It would have been more but track took such a jump.

I'm not sure, Dan had purchased two engines. He wanted a different engine, so he let me have his first one. It said on the box that it had the weights.
Apparently the second engine didn't have them.
I'll find out.

Today Laura talk to Dan and connected him up with Rodney. After their talk, it was decided the Dan's engine didn't have the counterweights. so he's working it out to get Dan a new engine and tender.
Thanks much.
Tom

PS, I guess we need to go on a buying frenzy...

Mr. B, I mention a friend sending his K-27 tender back to be replaced. They repaired it instead of giving him a new tender. I don't blame him a bit for being mad, he bought it new and they should have replaced it. I think youve lost a customer.
He was really happy with that engine, but I don't see him buying your products again.

PS I just talk to Dan and they sent the tender back broken...

I would suggest the you use rail clamps, the ones that come with the track doesn't last long.

I think that's a great list of new engines, I would like everyone you suggested.
My new K-27 undec was lettered Flying Rio Grande.
The 2-8-0 and the K-27 made me a firm believer in Narrow guage.

When the Shays first came out, I had to have one.  I love my Bachmann engines, I think they are the finest engine out. Think what they would cost if some of the other companies made them. I sold a lot of my engines and just about got out of the hobby. I'm rebuilding my layout and I will replace my Shays'

I purchased an HO layout that has Digitrax system. What would I need so I could use it on my g scale layout?

My friend Dan that has the broken tender told me if the Bachmann had been out he wouldn't have bought his Accucraft.  He has three or four of them. I bought my Bachmann K-27 from him. He ask me later if I liked it. I told him, I would have chosen that exact engine. He wanted the one with the Doghouse.
I'll see you at the York Show next month.

My friend Dan, was told he has about a 5 to 6 week turn around time on repairs to his tender. I suggest that he may want Bachmann to return it and take it back to the dealer. I bought my K-27 from Dan, and it's beautiful.

I'd like to see any pictures of someone's installation. A friend installed the Dallee in a Consolidated for me.
When I got this engine someone had cut the wires on the right side between engine and tender flush with the plug. I'd like to see what wires have been cut.

The chuff drop out at low speed, it may be a battery problem.

If you have pictures please send to tlnibert@hotmail.com
Thanks
