On30 / New Tank engine ideas
January 17, 2009, 06:41:00 PM
As you know, so far, Bachmann has made 0-4-0Ts, 0-4-2Ts, and 2-4-4Ts. But I think Bachmann should go beyond those tank engines to other types.
Such as...

The 0-4-4T

The 0-4-0CA or compressed air

http://www.steamlocomotive.info/vlocomotive.cfm?Display=5860

The 0-6-0T

http://www.steamlocomotive.info/vlocomotive.cfm?Display=1973

The 0-6-2T

http://www.steamlocomotive.info/vlocomotive.cfm?Display=392

and The 4-4-0T

I hope Bachmann considers these ideas.  ;D

Speaking of 2-4-2s, how about a model of Brookfield Zoo No. 242, which is at the Hesston Steam Museum in Hesston, IN.

http://www.walthers.com/exec/productinfo/933-2840

and there is a cool 6 stall roundhouse just like the original thomas set

Hmmmmmmmmmm....... ??? The turntable looks promising, but I'm thinking of the a seven stall Tidmouth sheds for update reasons.

What I'm looking for is a turntable to fit Spencer as he is the longest engine currently in the line. i don't own him yet(I have an Emily Passenger set) but i hope to get him as well as other characters soon. ;)

Well, other characters like the Bowler Diesel made 1 appearence and Hornby made a model of him. If Hornby can do it, so can Bachmann!  :)
