WOW! all of this started because I thew a question out there! I was simply looking for options for multi-train control. I agree with most of you about the price point going up as features are added. Look at the new GP-30 with sound...$200.00 everywhere I've seen it. Kinda pricey for a Williams diesel I think. I wish that was not the case, but that is why I paid over $300.00 for a starter set from MTH with sound and four different options of control (my choice) I love Williams locos for their bullet-poof construction, just would love to see a DCC socked  to make them DCC ready that's all.

Jerry's HO,
Great looking layout! I'm looking for ideas for an O gauge layout. Love the track plan!

Hey! Finally someone else thinking DCC for O gauge. I just got an MTH SD70ACe set with PS3 and guess what??? It runs DCC factory installed! I love it. I'm using my old Digitrax Zephyr to run it and it works great. I figured if I get a WBB loco and install a DCC decoder in place of the sequence board it should work. I just don't know what type of decoder to use. Also maybe a Sounctrax decoder and using the original speaker! An thoughts?!?

GP 30's are cool, but I like contemporary power. I'd love to see WBB retool their Dash 9's or even do SD40-2, GP40-2. And it would be great to make them DCC ready! I know DCC is not popular with O gauge train operators ,but I think it will catch on fast. I have an MTH railking set that I can run with DCC (which I do) because I have an older Digitrax Zephyr and I love it. Id' love to have muti-train train control at a fraction of the cost of most command control systems for O gauge out right now. And it all be compatible with NMRA standards. I know it's a lot, but a man can dream. And I think hat WBB using Soundtraxx sound boards DCC compatibility is just around the bend!!!

Great! I'll look into it. I just got an MTH Protosound 3.0 loco so I was entertaining running O gauge trains with DCC. I saw the NS heritage SD90's in the new catalog. And I thought hum..those would look and sound great with Tsunami decoders!

Williams by Bachmann / DCC control for Williams locos.

I'm looking to add DCC to O gauge locomotives because I have A Digitrax Zephyr that I want to use. Has anyone installed a DCC decoder on a WBB loco? And if so what decoder was used? I'm not sure what type of decoder to use. I want to install them in the two motor diesels. Thanks!

Dear M1FredQ,
I too love the ACL  purple. I know WBB makes a stunning set of E units and passenger cars. However those that K-Line did in 2000 are very nice. I think you might have a bit of friendly competition hunting these cars down..LOL

Well you guys know that WBB is now offering GP-30's with sound. So who's to say that maybe in the future they won't offer command control? Bachman makes two  great DCC systems and the sound boards for the GP-30 are by Soundtraxx....hum..DCC for Williams anyone? Just a thought

WOW they look great! I will get a set! Thanks so much for the directions to them. WBB take note. Please have better pics of your products I believe your sales will increase for it. You make great locos that are beautiful to run and look at. Now if you could bring back the Superliner cars in phase 4 we would have a great set!!!

Williams by Bachmann / Golden Memories F3 Paint request

Hey Mr. Bachman How about a set of F-3's in the ACL Purple paint scheme. I really like the classic F-3 look, and I'd love to see them in that paint scheme. I know you offer the F-7 in that scheme, but I do not really like these. And how about an NW-2 as well please in ACL purple!!Thanks!!
