I have real tsunami's in my 2-8-0 and factory in my mallet. I can get even better running by removing the factory tsunami in the mallet and going with a full tsunami? Cool. Cause the 2-6-6-2 runs great already.

Turn the decoder plug 180 degrees in the socket and you'll be fine.

If you can't program them and aren't going to dcc, find a friend that will program them for you on his dcc
System. Takes but 2 minutes to swap decoders if there is the nmra plug Installed

Mike. After my 2nd install, it will take about and hour. Add another 1/2 hour for firebox flickering lights. It's a cool effect

My porters are unreliable. All 3 of them. They loose pick up. And they are
Older styles. Guess I need some coupler springs

the motor just pry's up on mine... the contacts for the motor just get held on there.. its a tight squeeze..... you'll feel like you're breaking it... but you're not.

They are exceptional runners once you remove the factory decoder and go with something like a tsunami.
I love mine. I may get another.

Installed the heavy steam in my second Connie with a medium oval speaker and enclosure. It's much more fun having the double head each making noise
